Short lines work best. Up to three lines. No real artists, songs or brands you do not own.

4Jingle length

You also get a 5 second audio logo from the same take. Takes run about 25 to 30 seconds, so a 30 second jingle can end a few seconds early on its own last note. You can change the length later for free.

What makes a jingle stick

A jingle only has a few seconds to do its job, so the name has to come first. If someone remembers the tune but not your business, the jingle didn't work. Lead with your name, then say what you do or your tagline second.

Repetition helps more than cleverness. Most jingles that stick say the name twice, once near the start and again in the hook, so it has a real chance to land the second time.

Match the style to how your business actually feels, not to a trend. A country auto shop and a jazz coffee bar shouldn't sound the same, even if both jingles run 15 seconds.

  • Say the name first, then what you do
  • Repeat the name at least twice
  • Match the style to your business, not a trend

How HookHouse works

Type your business name. That's the only required field. You can also add a short tagline or what you do, and an optional "say it like" spelling that changes only how the singer says your name, not the words in the hook.

Pick one of 8 styles: Bright pop, Retro radio, Friendly acoustic, Latin pop, Hip hop, Country, Jazz lounge or Family fun. Then pick one of three hook line templates. Your business name stays in the line no matter which one you choose, and you can edit it before you generate.

One generation makes a jingle set: a sung jingle cut to 10, 15 or 30 seconds, starting right on the first note with a fade sized to the cut. From that same take you also get a 5 second audio logo that ends on the final note.

Every file is mastered to -14 LUFS and downloads as MP3. If you change your mind about the length later, you can recut the same take into a new length without generating again. Takes run about 25 to 30 seconds, so a 30 second jingle can end a few seconds early on its own final note instead of repeating words.

Picking a length for what you need

A 5 second audio logo works at the end of a video, the start of an app, or an on-hold line. Any shorter and there isn't time to hear the name. Any longer and it stops being a quick signature.

A 10 or 15 second jingle fits a social ad or a short video, long enough for the hook and the name to land before anyone scrolls past.

A 30 second jingle fits a radio-style spot or a longer commercial, with room for a second line about what you do after the hook.

  • 5 seconds: audio logo, app sound, on-hold line
  • 10 or 15 seconds: social ad, short video
  • 30 seconds: radio-style spot, full commercial

Getting your name sung right

The result screen shows you the exact hook line the singer was asked to sing, so you can check your name is in it before you download anything.

AI singers can still slur an unusual name, especially a longer surname or an uncommon spelling. Always listen to the jingle before you use it anywhere.

If the name comes out wrong, use the "say it like" field to spell the whole name the way it sounds. For Kowalczyk Plumbing, type "koh-VAL-chick Plumbing". It changes only how the singer says it, not the name on your title, library or certificate.

Rights in plain words

The music comes from Google's Lyria model. Google says it does not claim ownership of the music you generate, and every track carries an inaudible SynthID watermark that marks it as AI made.

The US Copyright Office has said that music made entirely by AI, with no human creative changes, generally isn't eligible for copyright protection on its own.

We can't make any promises about trademarks. Only use a business name you own or have permission to use. Read the full breakdown, including exactly what we can and can't promise, on the license page at the jingle rights page.

Free to start, packs when you need more

You can make 1 jingle a month with no account. Sign up for a free account and that goes up to 3 a month, and your jingles are kept for 90 days instead of 7.

If you need more than the free allowance, a one-time pack gets you 5 jingles for $9 or 25 jingles for $29. Credits never expire, so you can buy once and use them whenever you need a new take. A fully used 25-jingle pack works out to a little more than a dollar a jingle.

AI Song Generator subscribers also get jingles included every month with their plan.

A jingle from a person vs one made here

A sung jingle from a freelance site usually runs $25 to $80. A dedicated audio logo gig usually runs $30 to $150. A full agency jingle typically starts around $2,500 and takes a couple of weeks to deliver. Some AI jingle sites charge around $29 for a single jingle.

A jingle set here is free to start, and you get to hear the result and check your name before you ever pay for anything.

Questions people ask

How do I make a jingle for my business?

Type your business name, pick a style and a hook line, and generate. You'll get a sung jingle and a matching 5 second audio logo from the same take, ready to download as MP3 files in about a minute.

What's the difference between a jingle and an audio logo?

A jingle is the full sung piece, usually 10 to 30 seconds. An audio logo is a short, 5 second cut from the same take, made for the end of a video or the start of an app. See the audio logo maker.

What if the AI sings my business name wrong?

Listen before you use it. If the name comes out slurred or wrong, use the "say it like" field to spell out how it should sound, then generate again.

Can I make a podcast jingle with this?

Yes. A short sung sting with your show or business name works well as a podcast ad read or a segment bumper. For instrumental intro, outro and background music instead, try the Podcast Intro Music Maker at the Podcast Intro Music Maker.

Do I need an account to make a jingle?

No. You can make 1 jingle a month with no account. A free account raises that to 3 a month and keeps your jingles for 90 days instead of 7.

Can I use the jingle on the radio or in a commercial?

This tool makes radio-style and commercial-style jingles. If you plan to actually air one on real radio or TV, check the terms on the license page and talk to a lawyer first. See radio jingles.

Do I own the jingle once it's generated?

Google says it does not claim ownership of the music you generate. The US Copyright Office has also said fully AI-made music generally isn't eligible for copyright protection on its own. Read the full breakdown on the jingle's license page.
